Daniel, Michel Samways and Tony Whitten during the ICSC meeting

The Biannual meeting of the Invertebrate Conservation Sub Committee (ICSC) IUCN SSC was held at the UNEP building Cambridge, UK during 11-12 April 2014. Chairs of the Invertebrate Specialist Groups, SSC Chair, Simon Stuart and Staff Rachel Roberts took part in the meeting. Dr. B.A. Daniel Co-chair of the South Asian Invertebrate Specialist Group attended this. Actions on species conservation by broadening the taxonomic Scope of the ICSC, ways to cooperate with other sub-committees, new strategies such as involving in Key Biodiversity Areas, Alliance for Zero Extinction are some of the main points discussed in the two day meeting.
